Outline

Module/course Summary

Will digital transformation bring a tsunami of unemployment? What
can we do with people whose job became obsolete because a machine can now do
it? On which bases autonomous cars should make their decisions? Until which
point can we trust artificial intelligence in decision-making?

This course will deal with all these questions and will show that,
since the beginning of digital transformation and while technical change had
dramatically increased its paceā€¦ economic, social, political and ethical issues
had remained surprisingly the same. The course will explore these issues on the
basis of examples from the news and the history of digital transformation.
