Module/course Summary

The focus of this class is on the valuation of equities and the role of buy side and sell side analysts as investment advisors. The course provides a glimpse of the stock analyst profession and is suitable for those who intend to become investment professionals. Course topics covers key analytical tools that equity analysts require to carry out their jobs-- starting with a review of return and risk concepts, economic and market analysis, sector and stock analysis, and investment benchmarking. Discussions will include the dynamism of capital markets, and interaction between equity analysts with institutional and retail clients.
