Module/course Summary

Existing models of business value creation generate massive pressures on biological ecosystems and societies, with strong associated impacts on natural and social resources. Facing such grand challenges calls for a deep rethinking of business as an institution and business value creation mechanisms. This fundamental course in sustainability is meant to provide students with an understanding of sustainability challenges, how businesses contribute to these challenges through their governance and business activities, both negatively and positively, and how they are affected by these challenges.
