This specialization track focuses on the individual level.
It adopts a young manager’s point of view. In her/his first positions, whatever the functional or technical aspects of her/his job, whatever the industry, she/he has to face a number of challenges:
- navigate the organizational mazes and obtain efficiency while preserving integrity,
- rely heavily on her/his decision skills for making business decisions as well as personal choices,
- manage the different facets of her/his image and reputation, • develop novel ideas, reconsider established practices, and foster change and adaptation,
- develop leadership skills in order to promote novel ideas (whether hers/his or others’) and turn them into action.
The different modules of this track aim at developing an in-depth understanding of these challenges and support the construction of a reflexive capability among the participants. In this perspective, the modules will rely heavily on discussions, collective work, case studies, practitioners’ interventions, field studies, etc.
