Module/course Summary

Option E Berlin (2021 Focus: technology and impact)

The aim of all ESCP Europe’s faculty members involved in teaching entrepreneurship is to support students to become future entrepreneurial leaders in a variety of initiatives, be it their own ventures, international corporations, non-profit organizations. This specialization program is about entrepreneurship as a mindset and a method for action under uncertainty, and especially about developing and using entrepreneurial competencies to create innovations in the digital world which have a relevant impact on business, society and technological progress.

  • The Berlin Option E in 2021 will be placed under the motto: Technology and Impact
  • Students wishing to participate are invited to hand in a one-page CV, a one-page inspiration/motivation letter and proof of good command of the English language. Selection will take place on the basis of their written candidatures and, if deemed necessary, of (distance) interviews. A "flash idea" is optional: any creative product of yours that you want to show us, because it reveals things about you that the CV and cover letter are not. The flash idea can be sent by e-mail to the programme manager.
  • The mandatory study trip is partly sponsored but requires a financial contribution of approx. 300 Euro/student plus additional costs related to visas, travel insurances, board and local transport. This year the field trip (lasting approx one week) will focus on major European ecosystems and put emphasis on networking, coding as well as MVP development.
  • In Option E the classes are very interactive and your physical presence is required to participate. We are subject to the regulations of the Senate of Berlin, but for the time being we are planning face to face classes

Please note: Students who joined the MIM programme after 2020, will have to choose beside the specialization an Advanced Management Course. In Fall semester in Berlin following courses are available:

- OM20 - Advanced Organisation and Management: Managing Change
- RM20 - Operations Management
