Outline

Module/course Summary

The specialization is made of 4 courses composed of 2 modules each (overall 8 modules x 15h) following an integrated multidisciplinary approach by which several core management disciplines are understood under the umbrella of the International Business (IB) field. IB operations cover all value-adding activities, including sourcing, manufacturing, and marketing (of products, services, capital, technology, know-how, data and labor) that are performed in international locations outside of the home country of the organization. Such organizations need to make international management decisions, namely decisions to manage and coordinate the management of business operations (trade and/or investments) conducted in multiple countries.

Within this context, the IBD specialization aims at developing integrated international management competences for future professionals in BtoB and BtoC industries:

- operating in highly international “exposed” organizational (e.g. in large multinational companies or dynamic start-ups) and geographical environment (in mature, fast growing and emerging markets where the organization operates),
- who will play a dynamic role in the internationalization process of their organization, from a variety of functional perspectives (e.g. International Business Developer, International Marketing Manager, International Sourcing Manager, International communication and PR Manager, International Supply Chain Manager, Global Account Manager,  International Project Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Foreign Branch Manager..)
